Ann Lewins has been using and teaching Computer Assisted Qualitative Data AnalysiS (CAQDAS) packages since 1994. She pioneered the development of institutional support for the use of software, helping to create the CAQDAS Networking Project. She has worked with a wide variety of researchers in different academic and applied disciplines and has trained widely across Europe. Ann is based in the UK.
Dr Christina Silver has been using and teaching CAQDAS packages since 1997. She used software to facilitate both her Masters and PhD studies, and many other academic and applied qualitative research projects. She has taught under- and post-graduate qualitative methods courses in UK and European universities and currently contributes to doctoral programmes at several institutions. She is the Manager of the CAQDAS Networking Project. Christina is based in the UK.
Jen Patashnick has been using and teaching CAQDAS packages since 1998. She also works for Video Intervention/Prevention Assessment (VIA) at Children's Hospital Boston, where she is the Analysis Coordinator. At VIA, Jen implemented the use of qualitative software to code, structure, and model data and she is responsible for the analysis of large amounts of data generated by young people in the form of audiovisual narratives.
